Official Statement of the Chairman

Current News TMC- the Maritime City Project:

To my fellow Bisliganons,

A Blessed and a good day to all!

I would like to take this opportunity to update you about JM McGregor Haggens Inc.’s project, The Maritime City.

Last January 25 of this year, our TMC project took a very significant step with the arrival of a shipment from South Korea in our city of Bislig. The shipment, which was transported from Davao Port in 3 container vans is for the Solar Power Plant project, one of the several projects for The Maritime City.  This will be put up in Brgy. San Vicente in Bislig City.

SD Solar Development Construction Corporation (SDSDDC), a local company with its Korean partner is credited for this shipment. SDSDDC is one of the 2 contractors for the solar power plant project.

The transport of the 3 container vans containing field office equipment as shown in its manifest was properly documented and coordinated by SDSDDC and JM McGregor Haggens Inc. with the local government unit of Bislig City.  The City Information Officer, some members of local media and officials from JM McGregor Haggens, Inc. and SDSDDC were present at the arrival.

We are hopeful travel restrictions caused by the pandemic will ease up soon so we can welcome the arrival of the group of Technical Engineers from South Korea next.

I would like to assure you that JM McGregor Haggens, Inc. will always coordinate with the local government of Bislig for all these incoming projects. I would like to thank our Hon. Mayor Florencio C. Garay, Hon. Vice Mayor Jonas A. Cacayan and the whole council for their continued support and for the issuance of a City Resolution of  Interposing No Objection to The Maritime City projects.

We fully support the Balik Probinsiya Program of our Government. The Maritime City will give out employment and opportunities not only to Bisliganons but also to those in nearby areas who are in dire need of jobs. The Maritime City will uplift the lives of many, most important, the lives of my fellow Bisliganons. This is one way of paying back  my beloved city,  Bislig City.

Thank you.
